About Matt
Leadership & Executive Coach
Hi there! I’m Matt. I’m originally from Ottawa, Ontario and now live in North Vancouver, British Columbia with my wife and four daughters. When I’m not working or parenting you can find me running the trails of the north shore, hitting the slopes, exploring on my e-bike or sampling the latest offerings from our local craft breweries. And just in case you were wondering, the perfect gift for me is a book or a good bottle of red.
Looking back at my career, the defining theme has always been my focus on helping others be successful. You might say I had a natural propensity for servant leadership. In 2021, I decided to commit fulltime to supporting the growth and development of others in the best way I know, by becoming a professional leadership coach.
I’m a graduate of the executive coaching program at Royal Roads University, one the most highly respected coach training programs in North America. I have my Associate Certified Coach (ACC) designation from the International Coaching Federation (ICF), considered the gold standard for professional coaches.
As a coach I’ve developed a reputation for being approachable and supportive while at the same time being direct and candid. Clients appreciate my ability to bring clarity to their messy, complex thoughts and for my ability to provoke insights and new ways of thinking.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with great clients in both the private and public sectors across North America including CEOs, senior leaders, emerging leaders, social workers, business owners and entrepreneurs.
My ideal client is a leader who is committed to their own development and to creating a legacy of positive impact on their organizations, their people and not least of all, themselves.
